Brewster Museum of Natural History Hosts Earth Week Activities

BREWSTER — With Earth Day approaching on Friday, April 22, the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster is planning a series of week-long programs celebrating the event and the nature of the region.

The museum will commemorate Earth Day during the April school holiday week with interactive and educational activities.

Program coordinator and museum publicist Teresa Izzo said offerings will include guided field walks, terrestrial and space labs, construction of a butterfly house and an Earth Day party with treats. edible.

“Anything we can do as residents to help create a better environment within our community will be the foundation for the future of the world and our land,” she said.

She also highlighted the importance of local cleanup events for Cape Town’s environment.

“I know a lot of communities will go and clean the beaches and that’s very important, especially in our area,” Izzo said.
