Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum needs a few more donors to help fully fund its new exhibit.
The museum’s next exhibition is called “3, 2, 1…Blast Off! It is a rocket climbing structure that also offers different STEM components such as gravity, astronomy and space technology for children’s fun and learning.
Despite some setbacks due to the COVID-19 pandemic, fundraising efforts and project construction have continued.
Currently, the Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum has raised over $200,000 and is seeking a few additional donations to help fully fund the project.
“We have 20 Tier 1 launch sponsorships left to FULLY fund our new exhibit: “3, 2, 1… Take off! “,” said a Facebook post from the Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum. “We need 20 donors to step in and put their names on our 3, 2, 1… Takeoff! donor wall by donating $1,000.

The exhibit could be completed and open sometime in 2022.
