Science Museum of Western Virginia to Open Parakeet Garden Exhibit
In February 2022, the Science Museum of Western Virginia will launch a new exhibition: the parakeet garden will be replace the existing BHabitat of butterflies.
The parakeet garden is home to more than 200 exotic and colorful parakeets and allow guests to get closer to these sweet and friendly birds. You can relax in the garden while the herd flies above their heads or have the opportunity to feed the parakeets
from the palm of their hand.
“The Parakeet Garden will be the first of five major exhibition revisions for the museum in 2022, andComplain to Acting Executive Director Mary Roberts-Baako. “We know how much community was at the Butterfly Garden and wanted to provide an even more unique and fun time experience for our customers. What better way to do that than to bring 200 delicately and beautifully parakeets in our garden.
The parakeet garden will be open to the public from February 15and. Continued on 15and it will be be open during normal business hours, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday to Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays.

excited to launch an exhibit that will bring more people to downtown Roanoke. said Baako said.
